So...my 10 month old has decided she needs to keep up with her brother. In order for her to do this, she needs to learn how to walk. Today she took her first step. This all started a few days ago when she learned to stand, in the middle of the room, with no support. The key to this ability is she must be holding something in each hand. I'm not sure if these "items" are used for balance, or simply security. Maybe they will be used as projectiles later if her brother gets out of hand. Anyway, Haley has decided I don't have enought to worry about so let's add walking baby to the mix. I thought I'd have a few more months before starting my exercise program of toddler chasing. Hooray for my smart little girl!!!
Mason and Sanga have taken to "critter" chasing. Sanga enjoys the squirrels that live in our trees and Mason likes the frogs and lizards that run into the bushes as you walk by. As long as they stay outside, I encourage all critter chasing. Mason just needs to learn to stay away from the ant hills.
