Haley and her BFF George

Haley loves Curious George. Anything with a monkey on it becomes her new favorite item. We were at the bookstore on Saturday and Haley was scanning the books. As soon as she spotted a George book she pulled it off the shelf and began reading...out loud. Of course we had to buy it for her. This picture is Haley and George watching cartoons before bed.

Move over Blocks

We have a little red wagon full of blocks. Haley likes to climb into the wagon and throw the blocks out to make room for her bum. I finally caught her doing it. Here is the result.

Mason news: The other day we were at a friends house for a birthday party. Mason was sitting at the table eating goodies with some other kids and their parents. He was telling them about his best friend who lives across the street. The kids asked his name and Mason promptly replied, "Satan." (Keep in mind people are very religious in the south) All the parents at the table started to freak out. I couldn't stop laughing, which probably seemed demonic at the time. So, let me clear up the confusion. Mason's friend is named Sagen (Say-Jen), which I can see how that could sound like Satan when spoken in haste. I explained that to everyone in the room, but I still think some of them might think we are devil worshippers. I guess we won't be getting invites from that group of friends anytime soon. Poor Mason!

Birthday Girl

Today is Haley's Birthday....HOORAY!!! We took some friends to the Little Scoops Ice Cream Parlor. Everyone got to try some delicious ice cream, with sprinkles of course, then we played in their party room. The boys had a blast but Haley was playing ball hog. I couldn't decide which video's to post so this might be overkill. The boys were cracking me up with their rolling trick.

Here is my little ball hog. She ran over to me to hide her treasure.

No party is complete without a little disco light show.

ZZZzzzz

This morning I turned on cartoons in Mason's room so I could do some cleaning in the front room. Haley, deciding she needs to follow Mason everywhere, plopped herself in Mason's rocking chair to enjoy watching Dora with him. I guess she was a little tired or Dora was boring, because she feel asleep. This is funny for two reasons; first, because she fell asleep and second, because Mason used to sleep in this rocking chair when he was her age. I love my kids!

What were you thinking?

Mason is having a really bizarro day. Every time I turn my back he's doing something...creative. Earlier he was in his room playing. It was kind of quiet, which usually means he's up to no good, so I went to check on him. I found the playdough out and the container of pink playdough empty. Upon further investigation I found several objects stuck to the back of Mason's closet. He said playdough was tape. (Yes the black thing is a toy bug).

Later, while John and I were watching a movie, Mason was playing in his room again. This time he came out wearing a poptart. I don't know if this is a belated Halloween costume, but I'm sure poptarts weren't meant to be mustaches.
